Walkies!
A walk up to Durlston Castle from Swanage is always a delightful experience, but none more so than when you can borrow a fun companion such as Howie from friends to enhance the experience. This little chap made our day recently, especially when we noticed a few idiosyncrasies in his behaviour. Ninety per cent of the way up to Durlston Country Park he would be the very model of a well behaved pooch. But every now and then… well… his inner zaniness just seemed to get the better of him. For no obvious reason he would run round and round our legs, snapping at our ankles. Then, after a few minutes, his normal placid and gently playful demeanour would return.
Looking forward to the next afternoon of ‘Walkies!’
